I love good ideas! I just got tipped off on the Good Ideas Salons, where "forward-thinkers come together to share ideas to make things better, whether that's better work, better play or a better world".
The concept of the Good Ideas Salons started in New York by a trends and innovation company called PSFK, and now there are salons in London, New York, Toronto and Vancouver.
Vancouver is hosting a Good Ideas In Media salon on March 17 and I just noticed a couple of friends/ former colleagues on the panel: Steve Pratt from CBC Radio 3 and Grace Carter from Invoke Media, plus Rob Newell (whom I've never met) from DDB Canada. Should be a good one!
It's going to be held at Workspace in Gastown (400 - 21 Water Street) March 17. The event listing says that the audience size is limited to 50 seats, so you better get your tickets ($25) soon! You can buy tickets HERE
