ITS MADNESS!

With the flurry of activity surrounding the NCAA March Madness and the previous CIS Championship. I feel obligated to point out the Vancouver connection.

With the flurry of activity surrounding the NCAA March Madness and the previous CIS Championship. I feel obligated to point out the Vancouver connection. UBC men lost the west regional final only to bounce back to storm to the final the the National Champions falling to the perennial powerhouses, Carleton. SFU claimed yet another title, establishing themselves as THE team to beat in Canadian womens basketball.

There are two players competing for teams that were invited to the NCAA tournament, North Vancouver's Tyler Kepkay (Handsworth secondary) who plays for the Utah Utes and White Rock's Tyrell Mara (White Rock Christian Academy) who plays for the Portland St. Vikings. Robert Sacre who also went to Handsworth would be playing for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, but is currently injured.
