the 13th event in the series. once again, headlining another artist who successfully continues to takes musical risks and shine his own unique vision - APPLEBLIM. read up on the man below. the rest of the night is just as vibrant and diverse. DUB GNOSTIC is going to warm up the night with some techno-influenced dub-fused leftism. then TAAL MALA is going to mix up some all-original business off a his laptop and ting (no doubt this is going to get things moving pretty quick). and get ready for LONG WALK SHORT DOCK unleashing his take on dubstep and bass with the full-on live set-up (anyone who's seen him play before, will assure you this'll be mad). followed by THE LIBRARIAN, set to deliver her special blend of dubstep and crunky bass goodness (get used to the name. she blew the roof off a certain underground spot with her vancouver bass debut last month). and after APPLEBLIM's done tested the limits, GLITCHY & SCRATCHY are gonna bring the party home with an originals + dubs heavy tag team DJ set (nodding to the dubforms spirit of experimentation and still rocking the i.g.u. styles their fans know)
vasho is busy designing a brand new and very different visuals set-up. likely to be the first of it's kind seen in vancouver. projections mapped onto 3D surfaces spread around the space.
and those that arrive early can grab some exclusive DF!3 stickers (5 different designs) and a few folks will get handed a very slick APPLEPIPS tour poster. while supplies last.
