Last weekend was the launch of the Latincouver.ca website keeping track of whats happening in Vancouver's growing Latino community. I can remember when my Salvadorian buddy in high school was one of the few latino dudes i knew in town and the lack of latin eateries in Vancouver was evident but luckily thats been changing in the last few years with taquerias like Dona Cata on Victoria. There's actually a couple more latino restaurants just a block south of Dona Cata (same side of Victoria, east side) and even a latin super market (not the one on the Drive).
