2009 FRANCOPHONE SUMMER FESTIVAL OF VANCOUVER: June 18 - 24

This is the 20th edition of this summer festival dedicated to Francophone music. There are some big names in Francophone music performing, including Malajube, Karkwa, Pierre Lapointe and Ariane Mahryke Lemire.

There will also be a day of FREE activities with clowns, magicians and visual arts for the kidsĀ on Saturday, June 20.

GREEK DAY 2009 IN KITSILANO: June 21

As part of Greek Heritage Month (May 25 - June 21) Greek Day takes place along the West Broadway corridor in the heart of Kitsilano. Expect to find musical and dance acts performing on 2 stages, tasty greek cooking demonstrations, a Kid's Zone, and storytelling. Plus - it's FREE ADMISSION!

ITALIAN WEEK 2009: June 21 - 26

Join in for a week long celebration of Italian music, theatre, arts and food! Hosted by the Italian Cultural Centre, almost all of the events are FREE ADMISSION. For all you cycling fanatics, the centre's museum, il Museo, will have an exhibit called SPEEDING PAST all about historical Italian-Canadian cycling in Vancouver.
