The Powell Street Festival (@ Woodland Park this year, yo) & Pacific Cinematheque bring back Kibatsu Cinema for its second edition this year. Not just your average film fest, Kibatsu reveals influences of a variety of Japan’s prominent pop-cultural streams, including anime, pop and underground music. Two of the films focus on influential and unique contemporary Japanese visual artists.
