Dear VIA,
Wanted to thank you all for your support during our soft opening phase. We are so thankful of all your support and we are pretty much ready for the grand opening. Kenta Goto for Livestock's room will be 90% done and open. Rick Klotz (Freshjive) for Timebomb's room will be open but nowhere near where we want it to be. Rick custom made wall paper that is taking a while to produce so that's whats up. Good things take time!
We have lots of cool events coming down the chute specifically that you will dig (another VIA night, Friends and Lovers part 2 with Jason Lev, Metal Night, Nappy Dugout with Skull Skates, skate premieres, snowboard movie premieres, bands etc.). For now weekends are Happy Ending Fridays with a full on mixed bag of music...anything goes. Saturdays is Experience with afro soul to deep house. Weekends are weekends so get in where you fit in.
The best way to keep up on events would be to join the FACEBOOK GROUP and to bookmark the BLOG, until we get the WEBSITE in full order.
Now most people are not invited to the grand opening, but because it is the VIA crowd and I got love for you...I'm hooking you all up NO CHARGE for the Grand Opening. Simply RSVP to guest@fortunesoundclub.com with 'your full name and GRAND OPENING VIA' in the subject and we got you locked. Please show up by 11pm because once we are at capacity, there will be not much I can do.
PS- thanks for making the Live Block 2009 so amazing as well. Will post up some pics later.
