books

Bernard Shaw - Selected One Act Plays - I picked this one up for one of our board of directors, Jason Donaldson, who's a theatre teacher. Not sure if he's going to like it but it was printed in 1965 and is practically brand new. And it was a buck.

Papa Hemingway by A.E. Hotchner - a controversial biography by Hemingway's good friend, about the last 13 years of his life.

Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain - companion to the MGM movie released in 1960, not great condition but whatevs.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain - hardcover printed in 1957 in mint condition.

Murder in the Cathedral by T.S. Eliot - I thought this was a novel when I picked it up but it's a play, printed in 1938! I've decided to give it the board member that I'm giving the Bernard Shaw book to.

The Giant Who Wanted Company by Lee Priestly - a Little Golden Book printed in 1979, for my son Arlo.

The Puffin Junior Dictionary - another one partly for Arlo and mostly for me because the illustrations are awesome.

The B.S. Factor by Arthur Herzog - an interesting little Penguin book from 1974

The Song of the Wren by H.E. Bates - a quick little classic printed in 1974, in mint condition.

Getting to Know the General by Graham Greene - a quick, personal memoir. One buck.

If you're into classic literature, war books, biographies or just old books in general, get your butt down to this told you">BOOK SALE Saturday and Sunday at 165 East Hastings.
