You've still got one day to check out the One Of A Kind Show at the convention centre. We stopped by today and visited the BC Coastal Grilling Planks booth and the lady running it told us that one of our readers specifically went down to the show and bought a plank based on our recommendation! She also let us know how to properly grill halibut on a plank on the BBQ and schooled us on the benefits and downfalls of different thicknesses of grilling planks. Cool.
As for the the show, there's a ton of hand made garments, jewelry, art, food stuffs, crafts, furniture and more from over 200 vendors who each have individual booths set up. It's nuts to see so many truly dedicated and talented folks all under one roof showing and selling their wares. I'm just bummed that I missed this show last year when it rolled through the first time around.
My favourite booth is of an artist workshop called Mizzonk out of Maple Ridge. A bit on the expensive side compared to most who are showing, but super cool and interesting...
