The UBC Botanical Garden is hosting something called the Apple Festival tomorrow. I've never been but it sounds pretty awesome. They have 50 different kinds of apples on sale and 100 different types of apple trees... and they're introducing a new breed of apple that you've never eaten before. Learn about the new apple HERE, below is the official word ion the Festival from the Friends Of The Garden:

"The Apple Festival is devoted to 'all things apple'. The Friends of the Garden (FOGS) organize this two-day event, held every year on the weekend after Thanksgiving. For the past few years, close to 10,000 people have visited the Garden during the Apple Festival to enjoy a variety of activities. A key ingredient to the festival’s success is the offering of over 50 varieties of apples and more than 100 varieties of apple trees for sale. In addition, apple tasting, apple cider, candied apples, apple chips and apple pies are available. A great family event, Apple Festival offers many children’s activities, including a game to introduce kids to the Garden."
