While Vancouver has been my home for almost two years now, my heart did a little leap when Tony Dekker of Great Lake Swimmers uttered the words "I wrote this song in Port Colborne on the edge of Lake Erie"...(referencing my 18,000 person hometown in Ontario).
With Jon-Rae Fletcher opening for them, Great Lake Swimmers played to a boisterous, sold-out Vogue Theater Friday night...Both new and old songs were played, some by Tony solo, and an encore that included "See You on the Moon!"
