Originally a Hamilton, Ontario native, David Thomas Manzl has lived out West for 10 years now and become an integral part to Vancouver's art, design and music community. Humble for someone that has created branding designs for the likes of lululemon and other swanky corporate big hitters, he keeps his balance by spending time working on his art and non-profits such as Greenpeace. Mr. Manzl has also recorded three albums with local band Wintermitts, playing the guitar and squeeze box and continues to create posters that many vancouverites are familiar with.
David is also pretty enthusiastic about skating, cats, beer, Julia and getting his hands dirty in the garden.

3. My lady Julia at What The Heck Fest in Anacortes, Washington last Summer. Don't forget the Vans shoe outlet on the way.
4. My local skatepark. Never any kids, sometimes BAKU horde types. Rock one to fakie bro.
5. I manage a bunch of backyard gardens around the city. I've gotten really into small scale farming over the last few years. Here's a few various heirloom tomatoes and a Trombolina squash.

7. I always have to make time for my own art or I go crazy. This is part of a collection I'm working on right now. Spray paint on canvas.

The Questions
What do you do and where?
I do a lot of stuff... I lose track. I'm best known for my design, art and music I'd say. I just really like to create stuff, whatever the medium. To make a living i work with a few different agencies in the city and also run my own company providing design and creative direction.
