A few days ago we posted this video montage of the reconstruction of the infamous 'Red Ledge' at Mount Seymour, part of Nike 6.0's Greatest Hits Park Series.  Today we have more photos and a report back courtesy of Dano Pendygrasse:

Nike 6.0 understood that all the local snowboarders weren't going to be able to watch the Olympic halfpipe live, or go to all the events, so they set out to do something cool that all Vancouver snowboarders could get down with in 2010. This Saturday was the first installation of the "Greatest Hits" park at Mt. Seymour. The idea is to bring some of the most iconic urban features together in one place for everyone to ride, and what's more iconic than Quebec's Red Ledge? After shipping it up and installing it earlier in the week  the gate was dropped for the public to come hit it.

Despite the fog and rain, a hundred or so skiers and snowboarders signed up and another 50 came to watch as the red ledge was christened. The level of riding was surprisingly high and the wet weather couldn't dampen the spirits of the hardcore local crew. Nike 6.0 gave out dozens of prizes including enough shoes to last a year, and everyone ate their fill of free bbq.

The next big jam in the Greatest Hits park is February 20th where the infamous Burlington Vermont double set will be revealed.
