Yesterday's Daily Flickr Pickr image was of CBC Radio 3 host, Grant Lawrence, with Nardwuar hanging out in front of the CBC building "in" the Chalet CBC Radio 3. They've been broadcasting live outside all day every day since the games started and have been doing interviews with a bunch of interesting musicians, other folks involved with independent music in Canada as well as some random interesting guests. Anybody can go down and hang out and watch/listen, you should keep an eye out on the R3 blog and go down to check out the guests that they announce throughout the day.
Yesterday I headed down to the Chalet to watch Grant interview Loel Campbell and Mike Bigelow of Wintersleep when I heard they'd be there. During the interview they announced that their new album is coming out May 18th and is called New Inheritors. Nice!
