Not long ago I shared my favourite "new" taco spot with you, LA Taqueria. While I'm claiming it's the best in the city right now I'm also going to say that one block up on Pender street is a very, very, VERY close second favourite, Taco Rico!
Formally called Tacos Mexico Rico, it's run by a really nice lady who makes incredible tacos similar to La Taqueria. The place is large and full of tables which are mostly often empty and is a nice place to grab lunch and watch Mexican television on a big screen. Beware the ultra spicy fresh salsa and be sure to check out the al pastor...
