This week Little Mountain Studios is having a show, Gone Baby Gone: New works by Edward McKeever. Opening Reception is Sunday, Mar 28, 6:30 pm and will feature a special performance by Cris Derksen.

Edward is proud to preview a body of work heading back to New York at Little Mountain Gallery. This series of paintings, prints and a short film are a tribute to the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Icebergs as abstract forms and the polar regions with their inherent extreme light conditions have always challenged visual artists. In the last 100 years very few 2D prints, paintings and drawings have been made in those parts of the world. Edward McKeever is preparing for his first trip by studying and painting from dreams and historical records - both his fascination and naivete will be on display for all to see at LMG during the dates of March 26th - April 4th 2010

Other Notables: We're going to Access Gallery's dinner celebration at Irish Heather on Thursday! Come join us and say hello! Email access [at] vaarc.ca to reserve a spot. W2 Perel Gallery presents DIY one night only! And Helen Pitt presents Matter Work at 221A. See Artsy! Dartsy! for even more events!!
