Have you ever heard of the Twestival? It's a global movement where hundreds of cities organize and host their own local events to raise money for a cause, using social media for social good. It's been around for a couple of years and this year's cause is Education.

Vancouver's Twestival (coinciding with the hundreds of others around the world) was organized by Rebecca Bolwitt and will happen tomorrow night at the The Audience Lounge at the CBC building at Georgia & Hamilton downtown. DJ's, food, wine, live comedy and a ton of giveaways, the ticket price of $20 is more than worth it, plus it all goes towards building schools and stuff. Win win! Check the Vancouver Twestival site for more details and to purchase your ticket now and follow @YVRtwestival on Twitter for updates.

One of the giveaways that everybody who walks in the door receives is this keepsake pin courtesy of our friends at Six Cent Press...
