Win 2 tickets to The China Tea Deal 3, dinner at Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie, and a Sun Yat Swag Bag!

Seven Tyrants Theatre Society is presenting The China Tea Deal 3, the third installment of their popular historical fantasy saga at the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden weekends through July and August. Enjoy two tickets to the roving outdoor performance plus dinner (up to $80!) at Bao-Bei Chinese Brasserie and a delightful swag bag from the official gift shop of theDr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden!

Other than taking in historically imaginative theatre in authentically crafted reproductions of 15th Chinese century scholar's abodes and noshing at swank eateries with inspired cocktail menus, you know what else is great about Chinatown in the summer? The Chinatown Night Market, of course. Occasionally you even run into guys like this there...

The Made in China(Town) Sun Yat Swag Bag

From the official Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Garden Gift Shop: one yoga bag; one Libre Loose Leaf Tea Glass (a very cool flask that has a thermal double wall construction with a durable polycarbonate exterior and health conscious glass interior for a clean taste, great insulation and easy handling; great for yoga, bike rides or in the woods); bags of Signature blend Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Garden Tea in “Scholar’s Spirit” Oolong (orange peel, orange blossoms, corn flowers) and “Beijing Sunset” (Ceylon black tea, ginger pieces); a collection of handmade Chinese paper cutting art cards; a pair of chopsticks in silk jacket; a folding fan; an example of “bird of paradise” hand-painted silk wall art; three mini Shoo-Foo 100% bamboo compressed washcloths; a handcrafted yin-yang charm made of clay and a three pack of embroidered “fortune” cases, perfect for holding business cards or photos.

The Dr. Sun Yat Sen Historical Chinese Garden is designed in the classical style, based on the harmony of four main elements: rock, water, plants, and architecture. Together, these four elements combine to create a breathtaking experience of perfect balance - yin and yang.

What are your tips to achieving "perfect balance" in Vancouver this summer - what are your elements? Have you got it all figured it out yet?
