Concrete Skateboarding magazine's 2010 Photo Annual is hot off the press, and should be available (for free) in skateshops by early next week. The cover (the mag's first ever gate-fold) features Chris Haslam doing an ollie to fakie in Spain's urban wilderness. There's a bunch of wood-wheeler stuff going on involving this fine city of ours, so this is a continuation of last week's post.

•For contests, the AM Getting Paid Vancouver qualifier is going down at the RailSide skatepark in PoCo this Saturday the 14th at 1pm to determine who gets an all-expenses hook-up to the final contest in Montreal; click here for all the deets. The Lord of the Lines final is going down on Granville St. this Sunday the 15th. Mike Mo Capaldi and Marty Murawski will be in attendance as special guest judges. Should be a sick event; click here for more info.

•On Wednesday, August 18th, the very creative Montreal-based skate film, Elephant Direct (check the trailer here) will be premiering at 11pm in the Fortune Sound Club's fine atmosphere. The very highly anticipated premiere of Emerica's Stay Gold video is happening here on Thursday, August 19th at the Rio (2 showings, and they're free).
