Jen Osborne is a freelance photographer from Vancouver who has worked with Vanity Fair and recently exhibited at the Musée de l’Elysée in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Jesse Corcoran stirred up controversy with his Olympic Rings mural done outside of the Crying Room gallery which was ordered to be taken by the city of Vancouver last year.

Music Waste and Victory Square Block Party organizer Cameron Reed has garnered critical praise and a signing on the respected Warp label for his musical project, Babe Rainbow. Below is a short film / music video collaboration with fellow Vancouverites, Salazar for the Babe Rainbow track “Shaved”.

All of these artists along with Tassels and the Hyenas Djs (Basketball) will be presenting their work at the “Halloween themed” art and music event series, Heebeegeebees this Thursday 7-11pm at Chapel Arts. Admission is by donation.

The event is the first of five events through October featuring some of Vancouver’s most cutting edge artists with music curated by No More Strangers / Winnie Cooper and art work curated by Ryan Quast. See the event page for full details
