Ride-sharing explained

Do you ride-share? Did you know that in British Columbia over 100 companies and organizations representing over 100,000 commuting employees do? Take a look at the list of participating organizations HERE. In addition to reducing emissions and potential traffic jams, ridesharing can save you time and money. Who knows, you might enjoy the company and make a new friend!

Jack Bell Ride-Share is operated by The Jack Bell Foundation, a registered charitable society funded by TransLink and BC Transit public vanpooling service which provides British Columbians with "exclusive" online ride-matching. To win, just sign up at ride-share.com. Check out the video above to see how to register and learn more about the service.

The service makes it easy to organize a regular carpool, a casual ride-share a few times a week or even single ride-shares to specific events like concerts or sporting events. When you sign up to ride-share or register your existing ride-share arrangement, other people can join your group (split the gas!). Then everyone can enter to win prizes like gas coupons and ferry passes.
