The Proof - Jason Landry

Jason is something of a mix between science geek and design dork; his background is in the sciences but his present and his future is in design. A true left- and right-brain thinker, he is both analytical and creative.

Jason is something of a mix between science geek and design dork; his background is in the sciences but his present and his future is in design. A true left- and right-brain thinker, he is both analytical and creative. A consummate visual thinker, collector, and maker, Jason approaches each project and problem with enthusiasm, openness, and respect. Though he would have likely made for a good geophysicist, he is undoubtedly a damn fine designer.

Jason Landry Proof

The Proof

01 In the morning, I get up with the kids and we watch TV for a little bit. I love the style of 'Ruby Gloom'.

02 My VW Golf. It's taken me all over the place and is still going strong. Kids warranted a bigger car, but I have no plans to sell this one.

03 Various objects and books I've collected over the past ten years in Vancouver.

04 My two favourite pieces of art: an etching by Ralph Steadman and a mixed-media piece by my son.

05 I can see the mountains of the North Shore from my house, but if the light is right, the alley can be more interesting.

06 My son and daughter discussing the finer points of 'Little Einsteins'. Sometimes, the debate gets heated.

07 The west coast of Vancouver Island - where I would rather be most days.

08 Components of an illustration I'm working on at the moment.

Where can we find your work?

I don't have much of my design work online, but I have a blog and I blather on Twitter.
