P.S. For the sake of disclosure I need to say that Mikel inked my most recent tattoo but this did not have a bearing on today's choice.

		Today's Unplugged Flickr Pool pick projects a sense of calm that epitomizes the UNPLUGGED state of mind. It is a slightly nontraditional outdoors photo but none the less it is superb.

This shot came out of those quiet moments, when the whole city seems to have stopped. it was dead quiet, not a sound, i looked behind me, and there was the picture. thankfully i was able to get it. you almost want to do nothing, and drink it in... for fear of missing it, as there is always another wave of life right behind it...

i love the quiet moments in the city, amid the chaos.
