Handmaking at the holidays. Classic.

On Sunday Saturday, November 27th, learn to make your own wreath at the UBC Botanical Garden.

Guided by the talented and experienced experts Moya Drummond and Judy Newton, you'll learn tips and techniques for making your very own natural holiday creation. Advance registration is required – call 604-822-3928 or email botg@interchange.ubc.ca to register. You can even bring foliage from your own yard, say. Nifty.

If you can't make it to the workshop or would otherwise prefer someone else to do the work for you, you'll be able to purchase wreaths, door swags and table centrepieces handmade by UBC Botanical Garden volunteers. Sales take place at the Shop in the Garden (located at 6804 SW Marine Drive, at the corner of Marine and W 16th Ave) starting November 23rd.
