Would it come as any surprise to you all that after 4 concerts in 5 days that I am writing this post from bed with a cold?

Whatever, it was worth it.

This week was filled with alternating days of dance-your-pants-off shows and Dan Mangan awesomeness. ABS/Maylee Todd/Woodhands at the Pit Pub was a sweaty dance party, as was the Hollerado show at the Media Club a few days later (you may have heard that a certain ornithological song was played...). On the 11th and 13th Dan Mangan was in town once more and sold out 2 shows at the Vogue Theatre, with supporting acts The Crackling, and The Burning Hell (both also amazing)... I'll let the photos tell the rest.

THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: Involves some tough choices for Wednesday. I will be at Rain City Chronicals at Wise Hall and then hopping over to Cafe Deux Soleils for some Knitted Goods Tour awesomeness. Also that night is Jeremy Fisher (with Miss Emily Brown and Greg Laswell) at St James Hall. Thursday is a HUGE night with the Peak Performance Project Finale show where they will crown the winner and give the $100,500 prize

away. Excited! Friday is also going to be fun, Shad and Hey Ocean are performing at the CBC to promote Shad's charity coffee created with JJ Bean. (If you didn't score tickets, you can listen on Radio 3!) And the last show (that I know of) this week is our Guest Playlist creator for the week Zachary Lucky, who will be at Waves on Howe on Saturday night with Andy Shauf & Jordan Klassen. Now...to kick this cold....
