The Proof - Dustin Bromley

When you talk about people who truly go out of there way to make Vancouver awesome, you’d be foolish not to mention Dustin Bromley.

When you talk about people who truly go out of there way to make Vancouver awesome, you’d be foolish not to mention Dustin Bromley. While he’s always busy making music of his own (usually in more than one band), he’s a tireless promoter of other people’s bands. Whether it’s booking shows, throwing parties, or simply singing the praises of another up-and-coming local act, Dustin’s always going out of his way to get the word out about the people making beautiful noises in Terminal City. For a guy that’s always willing to help someone else out, it’s fitting then, that his latest venture, Prohab, is a charitable initiative to keep Vancouver’s growing cycling community safer by making sure friends, but also many, many more strangers stay protected when they’re riding. In fact, Dustin’s such a great guy, that I’ll bet he’ll buy me a beer next time he sees me, and all I had to do was spill 150-words or so of the truth. If people like that don’t make Vancouver awesome, I don’t know what does.

The Proof

01 Breakfast of Champions.

02 My bikes and Renee’s bike. I’m always trying to find a way to justify buying new bike parts I don’t need. It’s less of a hobby and more of an addiction.

03 I walked past this palm “tree” the other evening. It’s the saddest palm nub in the world.

04 Our kitten, Jovi. She’s a jerk, but I still think she’s pretty alright.

05 The photo doesn’t really show, but this thing was as deep as it was wide. It took me the better part of a day to conquer.

06 Renee is my awesome girlfriend, and this is us working on a Prohab project. (really!)

07 I’ve been known to go a little overboard with the caffeine. Also, McDonald’s coffee is never a good decision.

08 My band, Keep Tidy. We play fast hardcore punk, like we listened to when we were seventeen. I love these goofs.
