If you're on Twitter you know that at the end of each week people put together "Follow Friday" lists of their favourite people they're following and share them with everybody. I'm flipping the script a little bit on this with this feature on the blog where every Friday I'll feature somebody who includes our main Twitter account, @VIAwesome, in their #FF, in order to shine a little light back on them. It's a little tricky given the timeline (somebody #FF's us and I scramble to find something of theirs to post), but I do my best.
Today's featured human is @bobxtraz! His bio says he's a "Newbie to self. Photographer of randomness. Gigantic childcare Worker. Consumer of all things weird. Food Taster.", and his bio also links to his photo blog. I think one of the things I like the most about his "random imagery blog" is how it's semi-anonymous. I'm not sure if it's on purpose but nowhere on it does it say his last name or give away too much information about him. And it doesn't seem like it's a privacy issue, it seems like it's not even something he thought of. It seems like it's just a pure and ego-less venture, like "I want to share this stuff with the world for the sake of sharing and I don't give a crap if people know my name or not". That's awesome.
This photo of that random laneway home (that is not located in a laneway) at the crook in Victoria Drive's neck is one of my favourite posts of his because it speaks of exploration and just generally poking around your city.
