A couple of days ago I put a call out on Twitter asking people where they'd recommend my family and I pick up a Christmas tree, and I garnered 4 suggestions from it:

- Morgan Brayton suggested we rent one from Evergrow.

- The folks at Hip Baby in Kits suggested we cut one down at H+M Christmas Tree Farm in Richmond.

- Landon Dix suggested a Save-On Foods $25 special.

- Peechie suggested the Ikea $20-and-you-get-a-voucher-for-$20-at-Ikea special.

Then I did a web search and found THIS piece by Miss 604 about where to get a live tree as well as THIS one from the Vancouver Observer and THIS one from VancouverMom.ca.

We ended up going to the Lions Club lot at 41st and Fraser, picking up this Charles M Schulz inspired beauty for $23.
