If you're on Twitter you know that at the end of each week people put together "Follow Friday" lists of their favourite people they're following and share them with everybody. I'm flipping the script a little bit on this with this feature on the blog where every Friday I'll feature somebody who includes our main Twitter account, @VIAwesome, in their #FF, in order to shine a little light back on them and what they do. It's a little tricky given the timeline (somebody #FF's us and I scramble to author a post), but I do my best.
Today's featured human is Rebecca Bollwitt, otherwise known as @Miss604! She's been on Twitter since early 2007 and I would be VERY surprised if you're not familiar with her because not only does she have almost twice as many Twitter followers as the mayor but she's also been running her fantastic Miss604.com blog since 2004. Her blog about life in Vancouver has a bit of a different tone than V.I.A. but is similar in that she always has a celebratory message, only she doesn't parade that fact around as much as we do - that's just the way she is. Positive! Aside from her blog she also runs a Wordpress development/new media consulting firm called sixty4media, she was recently listed as one of the most influential women in social media in all of Canada, she also recently co-authored the book Blogging to Drive Business and I am so honoured that she often gives us a #FF shoutout!
