Back in 2006 a fellow by the name of Darren Atwater created a Vancouver news aggregator called City Snapped. Originally used as an internal tool to help him write the Credit Check column of Only Magazine (which he founded), he has since brought it to the public and spread it to a number of different cities as a valuable resource for journalists and news hounds alike. I'm happy to report that yesterday Vancouver Is Awesome was added to the Vancouver feed! By bookmarking it you're sure to be kept up to speed with all of the real news from most of Vancouver's media... then check out all of the celebratory stories that we've got to offer. Our site is fun but if it's one of the only ones you check out regularly we'd like to encourage you to pay a liiiitle more attention (okay, a lot more) to the real news and issues that are affecting your city.
