I never intended for this week be a theme week here at the Daily Flickr Pickr, but that seems to be exactly what is happening. You faithful and talented readers have seemed to enjoy a different take on the pigeons and coyotes that we share our wonderful city with, so why not another day?
DWMLo brings us the raccoon; another urban critter who, in this photo at least, is looking comfy.
I love raccoons, even if they are as every bit as evil as they are cute. Evidently, they don't mind cat food, and as such, I've had to chase them out of my previous homes with a broom on a warm summer evening - with the back door open - on at least a few occasions. But then just look at that innocent and adorable face!
And I honestly can't think of a better week to show our furry friends some much needed love.
