#FF #FollowFriday Blog Post 14: @BTArchitects

If you're on Twitter you know that at the end of each week people put together "Follow Friday" lists of their favourite people they're following and share them with everybody.

If you're on Twitter you know that at the end of each week people put together "Follow Friday" lists of their favourite people they're following and share them with everybody. I'm flipping the script a little bit on this with this feature on the blog where every Friday I feature somebody who includes our main Twitter account, @VIAwesome, in their #FF, in order to shine a little light back on them and what they do.

Today's featured tweeter is @BTArchitects, the official Twitter account of the award winning architectural practice of Bing Thom! Mentored by the late Arthur Erickson, Bing is responsible for a slew of incredible buildings around the world as well as specifically in Vancouver (buildings such as the Chan Centre and the Sunset Community Centre, to name a couple). Visit the BT Architects web site to see a complete archive of everything he's done, starting with the Hong Kong Pavillion at Expo 86!

Bing has been in the news quite a bit lately, first for his thoughts on the proposed casino at BC Place, second for his proposing and designing an incredible concert hall that could possibly call the current VAG building home should it move, and third for being awarded the 2011 RAIC gold medal!

Follow @BTArchitects to keep up to speed on everything coming out of Bing Thom Architects' Vancouver practice!
