Our friends at Music BC are holding their second Career Development seminar for bands and music industry folks! This next one is all about:
THE ART OF NETWORKING:
MAKING CONNECTIONS TO
FURTHER YOUR CAREER
One of the speakers, offering insight on one of the most important things you can do to help your professional career, is the one and only Nat Jay! You might remember her from this Giants of the Forest video below? Well she didn't just suddenly appear there due to her musical talent alone, and she's got some things she wants to teach you along with Lara Farcasan from Live Nation and Josh McNorton from Sled Island Music Festival.

The Art Of Networking: Making connections to further your career
Making connections and building relationships is one of the most important things you can do to help your professional career. When it comes to networking, most artists would rather avoid it all together! This seminar will focus on how to best approach a manager, label rep, etc and begin to build the network of support it takes to launch a career. We will also get into how best to do follow ups, and basic industry etiquette!
