Did I not just do a post about wearing shorts? The weather today wasn't great, but it makes me feel extra awesome that I seized the day like Ferris Bueller, and took the day off Friday to go snowboarding. You know how you always say you're gonna do it, but that day passes you by...
Last week, Christine showed us that the season is not over yet, and boy did they get dumped on. Friday had epic spring conditions, which you have to snatch up fast, before the season is up.
I've been a repeat customer with Grouse's Y2Play pass (which are still available), all our local hills have something to offer, but nothing beats a weekday with an empty gondola at Grouse.

Straight to flat, last seen on VIA in this Jeff Hamada post. This shot would have looked even better up against my frontside indy shot with extra stink, but I had to sacrifice it in order to sneak in the best photo of the lot:
You know what...I take it back...snowboarding's about these dudes, mental rental and Kemper Kevlar. I can do all the kick out methods in the world, and I'll never amount to these guys. I take a Friday off, they're livin' it.....
OK...here's all the wrong reasons why I love Grouse....
1) When you friends don't show up on time, instead of waiting in the lot, you're in a Starbucks.
2) Nicest bar/Caf
3) The gondola is easier on the Corolla
4) Beaver Tails!
5) Hiking the kiddie park (video coming soon!)
