As the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs are set to begin tonight with the Canucks and Blackhawks facing off for the third year in a row, I was tempted to feature a hockey-related photo today. But with any luck, there should be plenty of time for Canuck-related posts.
So today's photo is from knitgirl, and it kind of ties in with yesterday's post, when I was talking about my experiences using transit to move through the city over the years. It seems knitgirl was using transit yesterday when she took the photograph another golden day - specifically, I think she was at the Commercial Drive Station, Millenium Line platform. And judging by the angle of the sun, it was most likely mid-morning.
The light is at an excellent angle to define the predecessor to the green roof - the green wall (and not to be confused with the Green Monster). Another golden day indeed.
