No I'm not talking about a rule about partying or a password you may have needed to get into a rave in the 90's, I'm talking about Vancouver producer Daniel Code (of Anthem Jackson) and his role in the CTV comedy pilot, The Party that I shared with you yesterday.
Daniel is somebody whom I should have mentioned when I shared The Pack A.D.'s newest video with you, or when I brought you Peter Hadfield's Retirement Home project: he's a behind the scenes producer, a bit of an unsung hero, who has worked on a lot of the video stuff I've shared with you in the past. I wanted to shine a little light on him by pointing out what an awesome, silent character he had in The Party. In many of the scenes Daniel is there, snapping away as the YIAP party's photographer, adding an exclamation point to the end of the sentence that said their party was a little clueless as it seemed like he was supposed to be shooting for the web, and at one point specifically for Twitter, but was using an old film camera. Maybe it's me reading something that might not have been written in with that intention but it was a subtle piece of punctuation that I enjoyed nonetheless.
And more on the subject of unsung heroes, when CTV aired the pilot on TV they didn't show the credits, but here they are for you to peruse:
