Their mascot, Pete Seagull (pictured below), is one of the better illustrated icons in Vancouver's history and I'm hoping that they get him onto a t-shirt again this year because I would rock one (music pun!) every day until next summer.
And while we're on the topic of birds and music, let's loop this back to the reason that I'm making this post: to let you know that the early bird deadline for the festival is this weekend - June 11th.
