With 26,216+ artists, boasting 120,475+ tracks, the CBC Radio 3 web site is the absolute ultimate authority, and the home, of independent music in Canada. With that massive library along with tools for members (free to join!), we’re taking advantage of what they’ve set up by bringing you a fresh batch of music every week featuring local groups who have tracks (entire albums, even!) on the R3 site.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Canada Day/weekend! To start off July we have a playlist for you from the wonderful Hey Ocean! (whom you might remember from the Giants Of The Forest video at the end of May). Hey Ocean! will be performing as a part of the Summer Live festival in Stanley Park to (continue to) celebrate Vancouver's 125th birthday!
