Savannah Leigh Wellman (of Redbird)'s cat Monkey previously appeared in this Christmas 2009 Pets in Sweaters themed post, but really, he's so special he deserved his own profile. Meet Monkey!

Breed/Colouring: Grey Longhair.

Hood: West End.

Habits: Any glass of water left out will immediately get tipped over and lapped up.

Hangouts: Often found laying on his back like an otter in my west end bachelor apt.

Other info: The diabetic French-Canadian super cat. Monkey is a tough little guy—he journeyed via car with me from Montreal (his birthplace), survived several health scares, is diabetic, and still remains the sweetest thing ever. So peaceful, he doesn't hunt bugs, rather he follows them then gets scared if they move too quickly.

Name: Monkey (formally Monk, after Thelonius).
