I don't know about you, but I had a pretty awesome weekend. Which is nice, because it capped off an awesome week-long vacation that began and ended with barbeques, featured separate visits to lakes in the Kootenays and in the Interior of BC, and featured quality time with family, friends and six (!) wonderful little nieces and nephews. As a result, I wasn't in Vancouver all that much.
And as is often the case in the summer, there is so much stuff going on that you can't possibly hope to catch it all, if such a concept were even physically possible. I wouldn't trade my past weekend for anything, but if there was something going on that I would have liked to experience first-hand, it may have been the open house at BC Place to see the progress of the renovations. Deep down, however, I knew I could count on you faithful contributors to the pool to show me what it would have looked like being there - and you did not disappoint. I guess if I want to see this view myself, I'll have to do it the old-fashioned way and buy myself a ticket!
