Dogs can be a lot of things to a lot people. They can be loyal companions, they can become extensions of our families and in some cases, even ride in your lap when you are operating a motor vehicle (okay, so that last one might not be supportive of the point I am trying to make, but I do see it all the time). Dogs can be trained to aid authorities in a range of capacities using a range of natural attributes, and can help those who need assistance in their daily lives. They alert you when someone approaches your door.

But the subject in today's photograph from Fabien Burki can do something that I did not mention above; something that I was never able to figure out how to do. And maybe that was my problem - I never had a hound with a low centre of gravity to assist me in Flying my kite.
