Sometimes a guy just can't believe his luck. Anytime you get the chance to write a meta-post, you have to take the opportunity - but it's got to be done with care, it can't feel artificial or forced. So you can imagine my delight when I stumbled upon the below photograph from Kevin Cathers.

If you've been reading VIA regularly (and you should!), you are familiar with critically-acclaimed ongoing series EYES ON VANCOUVER (if you aren't, then click the preceding link and check it out - just hurry back so you don't hold us all up). When I saw today's photo, I had to know more - if what I thought I was looking at was the genuine article . Kevin assures me that these googly-eyes appeared on the side of this tree on Mt. Fromme in North Vancouver earlier this summer, and I have no reason to not believe him. It wasn't until he was carrying his phone with him yesterday that he was finally able to take a photo of what he refers to as a 'little monster'. Hence the title - Boo.

I also learned today that while some sources say that there is no numerical word after thrice, others claim that the word is tetrice. This is critical, because typically Eyes On Vancouver only occurs thrice weekly - but for this week and this week only, you get a bonus tetrice edition.
