It’s no secret that V.I.A. loves TEDxVancouver, returning for its third annual installment on November 12 at The Chan Centre for Performing Arts.
Earlier today the founder and CEO of BroadbandTV, Vancouver resident Shahrzad Rafati was the first speaker announced by the TEDxVancouver team! She was recently the sole Canadian listed in Fast Company’s Top 100 Most Creative People in Business, truly proving what you and I already know, that Vancouver is chock full of creative talent.
So the announcement gave us an idea – let’s send a few open letters to TEDxVancouver suggesting some of our favourite entries from the amazing database of creative minds on WE ARE VANCVR, that project developed by Domain7 Labs that we’ve brought on to head up a weekly feature that you may be familiar with. We’ll be posting these letters over the next few weeks and relying on you to help us catch the ear of TEDxVancouver with the hope that they’ll put one of our recommendations on stage come November 12. In the meantime, check out TEDxVancouver.com and apply to attend to this truly awesome day-long event. I went last year and to say that it was inspiring would do it no justice. The deadline to apply is October 14.
