sceneandheard SCENE AND HEARD showcases the independent music scene here in Vancouver. We interview some of our favourite local artists, post weekly guest playlists comprised of Vancouver artists and ‘Last Week in Music’ highlights some of the concerts happening around the city...

I admit it, I too much of a good time on Thursday and then became a hermit for the weekend while I recovered and edited photos. But, IT WAS WORTH IT, that show was killed...just check out the photos below!

THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: Talent Time is back at the Biltmore with a special Wayne's World edition...No way?...WAY! Thursday is the LAST Peak Performance Project showcase (*sad face*) ft. Lindsay Bryan, Maurice, 41st and Home, and Rococode. Friday check out A.A. Bondy at the Media Club... Saturday, before you stuff yourselves with turkey take a roadtrip to Coquitlam for a fundraiser for the Coquitlam Animal Shelter, food, drinks, and performances by The Matinee, Redgy Blackout, and Fera (who will be playing later that evening at Cafe Montmartre too). Last, after you have eaten ALL the foods and sat on the couch...waddle yourself down to either "Girls Are Awesome" put on by the Oh Wells at the Biltmore, or Sunny Pompeii, w/ Jasper Sloan Yip at the Railway Club! Happy Thanksgiving!
