Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!)

As much as I typically approach these posts as self-contained entities - not connected in any way from one day to the next - I am, after all, only human. I am prone to making the occasional photographic selection based on the continuity between two images. I faintly remember proclaiming something similar once before; most likely the last time I attempted to link two posts together.

And I want to be clear - today's photo, which comes to us courtesy of Aaron MacFarlane - stands on its own and deserves to be here on its own merit. It possesses a certain WTF quality to it; either the trees have grown slightly crooked, or the post is leaning to the right, but there is some exciting banality to it all. And some really interesting lighting. But when taken in context with yesterday's photo from andy6white, with the strong diagonal line that both images share, and I just couldn't pass it up.
