Waahhaayyy!!

I love the first snow, even though this year's wasn't exactly the dreamy blanket of white we all love to be the first to crunch through, I love it. This happens to me every year...I know it's coming (it has done for as long as I can remember) but winter manages to sneak up on me when I'm completely unprepared. The car doesn't have snow tires and I don't even have a decent pair of shoes but I say bring on the white stuff!

I really dig the fleeting-moment feeling of this photograph by Nicole Soltys, the same kind of feeling we got from how long the snow actually lasted. Aa-aand, I even get to squeeze in another shot of autumn leaves before they all fall to their doom. Thanks for this Nicole!

There was a lot of amazing photography in the pool this week folks, please keep posting and spreading the word about the Unplugged Flickr Pickr.
