Didn't realize that I had been living under a rock as of late, but I had no idea whatsoever there was some serious lunar action going on early Saturday morning. Not just an ordinary full moon, not just the final full moon of 2011 - but a total lunar eclipse.
Thankfully for myself and others who didn't see it, Jeremy Saunders shares with us an image that diagrams the moon in six phases on its way to eclipse totality. Here is 9//365.
