I chose this image for many a reason:
1. It made me look twice and hard.
2. It was taken in my home-burb, where I was last night, looking at old photos and wishing they still came with rounded edges.
3. It's title has to do with current events.
4. The Skytrain (or Spytrain, as me and mine lovingly call it) is awesome!
5. It is a truly beautiful image which incorporates amazing colours and leaves us with a lovely warm feeling about the end of another year.

It is our opinion here at VIA that Vancouver holds a unique place in the civilized world in that reaching this state often requires no more effort than simply pulling off to the side of the road, pocketing your keys and taking a few steps into the forest
