Vancouver animator’s work featured in Star Wars Uncut

Have you watched Star Wars Uncut yet? If you haven’t heard, it’s a crowdsourced redo of the original Star Wars film, made up of 15 second blocks created by thousands of different people. It won a Primetime Emmy back in 2010 and has since been caught up in copyright issues prohibiting the producers to show it. But they’ve made it through the read tape and the film has only recently been made available for public viewing.

Below is the 2 hour film in it’s entirety! Get ready to laugh as well as be awed by the creativity of many of the hive of minds who participated in this remake.

If you don’t have a ton of time to spare just be sure to check out this 15 second piece of the film below, animated by none other than County Ghost creator, Vancouver’s own Mike Geiger!
