Welcome to the first "Last Month In Vogue Productions" post! Once a month I'm going to let you know about the awesome things that are coming up and highlight the shows that happened in the past month! Vogue Productions isn't (just) about the theatre, they put on shows all around Vancouver with some of our favourite artists, as you'll see in the listings below! We're excited to partner up with these guys, and I'd book these nights down (I have!) because there are some stellar events coming up fast...
The photos this post are from the The Be Good Tanyas show at the Vogue, with opener Lucy Wainwright Roche, including shots that haven't been posted before! It was an incredible night with a packed crowd singing along. Enjoy!
COMING SOON from VOGUE PRODUCTIONS: First up in March, Howler with Yellow Ostrich at the Media Club on March 27th. Then onto a BUSY April! April 4th, Rococode CD Release for Guns, Sex & Glory at the Electric Owl! The Barr Brothers are at St James Hall on the 10th, TWO shows to choose from on the 12th (or be like me and go to both!) Jeremy Fisher at St James Hall, and The Wooden Sky w/ Sunparlour Players at the Biltmore! April 21st you can catch Shane Koyczan & The Short Story Long at the Vogue...and on April 30th The Jezabels w/ Benjamin Francis Leftwich are at the Longhorn Saloon. Cut to May and the return of Said The Whale, and Chains of Love, at the Vogue on the 3rd. Finally June 14th Patrick Watson will be at the Vogue, and if it's anything like the last time I saw him there, you DO NOT want to miss this!!!
